By Dutch law, a customer always has 14 days to change their mind. This period starts as soon as the customer has received the product. If the customer decides to return the product, he still has 14 days to do so, after having made this known. This is laid down by law. Exceptions to this are perishable goods, loose magazines and products that are specifically adapted for a customer (think for example of a mug with a photo). In that case, the terms and conditions must explicitly state that the right of withdrawal is excluded.
Every shop is free to offer a longer return period, a shorter period is not allowed. Of course we do expect you as a shop to stick to the period you have set for yourself.
HANDLING RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS
Beslist.nl uses a gross commission. This means that you pay commission plus transaction costs on all orders that enter your webshop via beslist.nl. You will not receive this amount back when a customer decides to return the product or cancel the order.
Within this model, it is also up to the shop to process returns and cancellations further. This means that the shop is also responsible for the refund to the customer. Please note that you are legally obliged to refund not only the full purchase amount but also the shipping costs to the customer. If a customer has paid by credit card, you can refund this amount through the bank account. The customer has given permission for this in advance. In that case you will find the IBAN number in the dashboard.
